    I agree. All great stuff.
But I would prefer to see the gap closer on the Blazers.
Not sure if you would like them almost a buck a bag, better.
    But that's just me..

Where in New Hampshire are you located. You should have good pellets close by to you!

Yes we do. :DNot so many years ago my wife and I were playing the pellet ground hog day game like everyone else. Every day on my way to or from work I'd stop at a different BBS looking for pellets. And we always ended up with a crappy brand if they happened to have any in stock. After a few years of that bologna, we figured there had to be better products out there and an easier way to get them. So we began calling pellet manufacturers and eventually started selling pellets. We're now lucky enough to have a wide selection of softwood brands that Pa folks finally have chance to burn.

The only place I've foune near me that sometimes has good pellets is Agway (and no delivery), but usually they have NEWPS. And for their prices, and non-delivery, I'll go with the FSU's and Pres-to's I've been getting from BBS. That's what I get for living 30 miles away from the closest cityor even decent sized town. TSC just opened near by and their bagged brand that they are selling so far is MWP's which are okay, but no better than what I've been running, and cost more unless they have a Grand Opening sale (I did grab some then).

I was running FSU last night and was getting 320 - 340 from the vent and 470 off the center glass . I thought that was pretty hot as I'm just starting to test pellets . CB on med feed gate wide open.

Those FSUs seem to be roasting well for you, I'd be happy with those temps.

you have bigger ____ than me. I don't and can't tolerate having to interact with them trying to get them to do their job. For now, I'll just drive up to HD where they will greet me at the door, ask what I want, then get it for me. It's a few cents more, but it doesn't set me off. I have found that if I go to either Lowes or HD during a normal weekday, service is seldom ever an issue. At Walmart, service is an issue all day every day.

A funny thing happened as I've gotten older. I have a tendency now to speak my mind a little more.

I feel that is a good thing, but for me it would be like lighting a fuse.:headbang: That plus a loss of patients. :zip:.
There is a big man in Lowes, (larger than I am if that is possible) He has been there 5 years. Anytime I need help, if I can find him he will always help me. Having a couple good contacts in both HD and Lowes really makes a difference.

I've gotten spoiled with having pellets stocked/on-hand this year, I gotta get busy again. (If this was cordwood, we'd be freezing our azzes off this winter here.)

SaveMoney, if those folks are treating you well at Lowes and HD then I'd be buying there also, because that's what it's all about, customer service.

You're just not going to see that level of service from WalMart, most folks don't work in the Garden Dept. - and barely have a clue what you or I are talking about when wood pellets are mentioned, period. Just have to be pleasant, patient, -and persistent- to get the right result, especially now with seasonal hiring for holiday help.

Nothing wrong with that, Sub - I am finding the same recently, as I approach the half-century mark here. (Getting in some trouble though, my Avatar ain't no accident, 'ya know. )

Speaking of FSU's, they have arrived at the HD in Manchester, NH.
