Fired the boiler tonight

Well I finally broke down and fired the boiler tonight.

 

Nice..what's the temp outside

 

59 right now, down to 47 tonight and then we are supposed to be in the 30's the next few nights

 

Good that your warming it up for those cooler nights that are coming, I keep hearing that November is suppose to be mild,

 

I keep hearing the same thing. I guess time will tell. LOL

Myself, I have delayed lighting off mine; here it is almost Nov for crumps sakes!

 

Yes it is a Central 6048. Yeah I held off but I don't want to use anymore propane.

I broke down last week. Warmed up the boiler and and shut down the electric hot water heater and heat pump. The nice thing about this time of year is I can make it 2 to 3 days between fires.

 

99 and I went passed through a town on the way to Green Bay last weekend that was selling propane for 67.9 a gallon!! Now that's nice!

 

67.9 ?? They won't even answer their phone around here for that !! Where abouts do you live in Yooperland ?

Beautiful country up through there !! Told my wife a couple months ago we need to head up there for a few days. She has never been to the UP
