They still make the 372xp . I think thats the only 3xx saw still made. Maybe they still make or have some 395s left???

The 2xx was obviously earlier. I am no expert but think it was early 90s at least?

If the saw is clean and has compression esp if its a bigger one its definitely worth $200. Some of those saws are desirable.

STIHL250 there goes your username

A little heat in the bar is normal I think. Metal on metal at 10,000 RPMs, it is what it is. If the driver links show lube after cutting, then you should be all right.

    But get the Husky :D

3120xp, 395xp, 390xp, and the 372xp are the 4 big hitters. The 365 is still made as well.

Best bang for your buck is a Husqvarna 555!!!! Or get a Husqvarna 562XP with MMW port job and you will smile every time you look at it.

I have a 445 . Kind of anemic saw to me but thats probably a result of me running big saws most of the time?

It was my first saw and still use it for the small stuff most the time. My only complaint is it doesn't oil very good.

Mine is an ok oiler but not great I agree with that.

I use mine for limbs and tops when its used. Or take as a backup saw to cut one out if I get one stuck.

I got the 353 as a back up/play mod saw. Plus you can put a 346 jug on it . After visiting ab site and reading I had to have a 372. Glad I did!! It's an awesome saw!!
