Nah Louisiana we basically bought for a song the inhabitants were what they were.
And later they just told the natives to go further west. - pretty chitty part of USA history. The area I live in had a good deal of Native American Indians living and trading with white settlers and they still shipped them out

Yep, Canada persecuted the Cajuns, so they went south.

That's Quebec, the Qubeccois, it's french..... but more slangish. I think that is only french only part of Canada... Most friends Toronto west do not speak french. the French there is like proper British English versus American English.

example where I might say to my nephew hey didya eat? In England it would be closer to hello, have you taken in your breakfast? means same thing but harder to translate..

Things went well. It was close at one point, but no one passed out.
Stacked 1780 lbs of Mulberry and Ash. Split another 1/2 cord of cottonwood, and cut/stacked 3/4 cord of Pine slab. Then it was nap time. Tough 'ol farts.
Took the neighbor for a quick drive up the hill when he woke up. Jones Pass- 12,454 ft. . He got his picture of him on the Divide. He was a lil' freaked about how steep everything was around him, though. It was really great, he couldn't stop talking about it. "Once in a lifetime..." , shakes his head and repeats....... priceless.
