Good review Steve.. btw: how do they compare[ and who makes them] to Okie Platinums or is the word " Platinums" just marketing and shouldn't be compared which I think I just answered my own question..
IMO, these are a tick above the Okie Platinums. I tested a bag of the Okie Plat's (I'm not publishing results for personal reasons) and got same ash content but way better heat, longer burn time and no ash cake out of the Vanderhoof Platinum's......and cheaper per ton to boot.
Tully I moved your question and steve's reply from the review page to the chatter thread. This helps keep the review thread neater. These are in no way related to Okies and are made by Vanderhauf in BC..... Total different company............

Steve thanks for another great review, really appreciate you putting in the time and effort to do these, it is extremely helpful. I also love the Platinum Pellets, so it's a good thing for me I still have a ton left over from last year! I have a bunch of random bags to burn through, and then onto these for a while. Looking forward to it!
