Like everyone has said already. Put some gas in the fuel tank put the cap on and shake it good to rinse the tank out. Then put more fuel in it and pump the primer bulb. Dump it out and add more fuel and then run it. Alittle bit of oil left in there will not hurt any thing and it will burn when running the saw. A little bit of smoke for awhile. Your not the first and will not be the last.
She is up and running. I made sure it was all drained out and forced out by priming the bulb with the tank cap off. When refilled she started right up with a quick pull of the choke. Smoked like Cheech and Chong at a bong fest and then cleared right out. I just took down a good size Ash with the 680 before lunch for logs. And the 361P will go to work on the top of it for firewood.
Sounds like you did not sufficiently fill yourself up with caffeine this morning, are you sure you drank the right stuff?
I did the filling of tanks with wrong stuff the other day. Just figured out today why it didn't start after I took a break the other day. It may have been I had too much caffeine the other day and was in too much of a hurry.
CRS: Can't Remember Stuff Can't Really Say Crazy Race Saw Cool......crap, now I can't remember. I do remember an old adage that goes something like.........."haste makes waste". You watch, I'll be the one who does it next. Nice that worked out Gas. Back to work.
Lol sorry bud that sounds like my luck my father did the same thing a few years back with a poulan gas in oil res n bar oil in gas res just primed it to tank sloshed with gas till it was clean smoked a bit on start up but runs fine good luck
It's running great now. I cut the top of that Ash all up with it and some other Pine. Nice, lightweight saw.
Missed this Did the same thing with my little echo , dang thing wouldn't run on pure oil rinsed it out there on the spot , fired it up , it did a little smokin
I would love to see some photos and videos of the 361p in action. I am very intrigued by this little saw.
I'll see if I can catch a video of me tearing through some Ash some day. But then I have to go through the whole youtube thingy, and then .... Yada, yada, yada.
