I'm getting ready to install my new myriad, and wondering what is the best stove pipe to use, I have a men cards and a home depot locally, but should I look for a better quality than what they sell?

Stove pipe is what you use on the first story, I like single wall on my Myriad. Don't think there is much of a difference from one brand to the other. After you hit your first barrier (the ceiling above the stove typically) you switch to chimney pipe. Supervent and Duravent are the two typical brands. I use Supervent because that's what's available in my area. Use what is common in yours because you can't mix and match between the two companies.

Selkirk supervent is decent stuff, especially at the Menards price. I've used it with two installs, and would use it again.

If you use single wall stove pipe, do yourself a favor and get a good welded seam pipe. The cheap snap together stuff at the box stores can be an exercise in frustration, and it doesn't usually last very long.

I had some of the welded stovepipe from Heatfab. Everything I have now is Supervent, from the stove to the cap.
Got it all at Menard's. Best price I could find.
