I need something like that to store my saws in my shop lol. Might hafta go huntin a log. How is the log secured?
It's nice to get them off the floor. Plus it looks cool. I have the log spaced out from the wall with a 9" 2x4 at the top and bottom. 10" Timberloc through the log into the 2x4. I'll snap a pic tomorrow if I remember.
36" Tsumura Light - only a few ounces heavier than my 28" Stihl branded bar. The bar was marked 115DL, but I only needed 114.
Super Pro 105 arrived today from Lostine,OR.VERY RARE ''little brother" to the 125. 6.5 cubic inch/106.5cc.Only sold from 1973-75. Story is that it was Bob McCulloch's idea for a "consumer firewood saw'' Not many were sold, though a few fallers on the West Coast did buy/use one as a smaller alternative to the 125 in medium/large timber. With the exception of the piston/cylinder, pretty much all the other parts are interchangeable with the 125. VERY strong running saw, fresh fuel & it was growling pretty quickly. This one unlike most of the few I've seen for sale over the years - spent more time sitting in a barn/shed than being used.Excellent 31" late 60's Oregon .404 sprocket nose bar arrived in separate package on Tuesday already. Recently sharpened vintage Oregon 52AJ square ground skip chain with over 50% left was included with the powerhead.
My 1st three Stihls. The 460 is the only one I still have and it looks a little different now 192T, 036 Pro, and 460 Mag
Nice looking set up Shawn! Proper B&C oil container, I might add.... What is this sweet looking Granberg sharpening deal? Never seen one. Gotta a model # or link so's I can lookee.....?
Granberg G1012XT Precision Grinder. I used it to joint the depth gauges too. I usually file by hand, but re-filing a 36" chain down to 10 degrees is a lot of work. Took me about a 1/2 hr with this baby.
Yea I hate sharpening my 32" chain. And I use a grinder! I am ADD so the time I spend on that I am thinking of other stuff.
