I picked up a 7' table off CL yesterday for a Christmas gift and ended up playing until 3 in the morning. Not sure we are going to be able to give it up tomorrow.
I remember playing that as a kid. The more someone hit the sides with the puck, the worst time I had keeping it from the goal.
Unfortunately it went the way of Sanford & Son, All in the Family and the Ford Galaxie 500...........................................
An Air Hickey table is next on my list of gaming tables. Have a Pool table and most importantly a Foose Ball table. Grew up with one, and never been without.
We had an air hockey table when I was a kid. Was a source and solution to many family arguments. Wish I had room for anything like that in the house.
Going up if we do anything, and only adding bedrooms/bathrooms. Gonna be a big $$ stretch for us I think. I'm not a builder type so I'm pretty much at the mercy of a General Contractor. No basement in this joint either and the garage is usually busy. Yes, we have/are considering moving. Building anything here is expensive. I will end up spending more on this addition (If it happens) than some of you spent on your entire properties I'm sure.
Nope. Long Narrow lot. Extending to the rear would require replacing/moving the septic and a total gut/redesign of the main floor.
Ouch, I feel for you there. I think I got a decent price on my house but in the last few years more things at a better to me price have popped up with acerage. Oh well?? I have a huge house just only an acre but when we were buying I guess we just weren't patient enough and the fact that there was little availible at that time.
