Looking for some newer limbing saws for up in the tree, any of my bros/sis's out there in FHC Land have any experience with them? I've got around 12 older limbing saws (Stihl 015's, 019T's, 020T, Dolmar 3410, etc), some are just plain WORE OUT. Of all my saws, the toppers take an azz-whoopin' the worst.

Just looking for a good "bang-for-the-buck", may buy two of these and be set for a while, while I rebuild some of my other saws......anyone have any experience with the Echo saws?

I had one - gutless until you remove the cat. It was a finicky saw when the weather changed, but ok once dialed in.

Sharp chain and the muff mod, and it cut some wood. I never cared for top handle, but I don't climb trees like you do. I've run a 200t, and they don't compare but neither do their price tags.

Good input, that's what I'm looking for .....thanks buddy!

Even as much as I climb (several times a week, usually), I cannot justify spending upwards of 800 or more on a 200T. It's ridiculous. But they are great saws. My 020T is basically the exact same saw, gonna spend the coin this winter to get it back up to snuff....

No personal experience, but I have read some good reviews of the cs 355 echo.

I cannot speak for the 330, but I have a cs3400 that I have quite a bit of time on. I modded the muffler and have run the snot out of it. It may not be the fastest saw in it's class but it is reliable as dirt. It starts easy, oils good and is easy on my back.
