you could take a few pieces of larger scrap make one of these:

and cut it all at once

 

Or throw more than one of those sticks on that chopsaw and cut away.

In fact my aunts book/wine club have started requesting boxes of it for their fireplaces... so they don't have to wait for their husbands to do it. Turned into nice little side business..
