I saw a youtube video of a two person splitter, one was a horizontal station and the other had a vertical platform for larger splits.
Must be nice to have trees that are that straight. I would guess it would be kind of impractical to use in our area with hardwoods. It is awesome to see these in ideal conditions. All in one pass splitters are great for production guys but personally I wouldn't want one. Way too many fines/smalls for me which equates to more handling or waste. When I built my splitter I made a 4 way and I even use that less than I thought I would. I feel sorry for the guy who has to try to keep up with that splitter shown. Getting the wood away from it anyway. Seems they would have a conveyor or maybe they pull forward. Looks like their first run with it as I see some paint on the initial splits. I just wonder how long it takes to get it working again when one stalls. Thanks for posting.
