Had our eldest son playing on our sofa and fell and hit his cheek on the edge of a coffee table. He needed stiches. We found a friend that had a router and we had the edges of the coffee table rounded off, even if it was a cheap particle board top. That was over 40 years ago and the scar is still visible.

Can't hit the like button on part of that post, but it sure was good thinking to get that router involved. My folks would've just scolded us for tearing up the furniture with our faces:rofl: :hair:
    Again.... ahhhh, the American family:picard:

I think my wife and I both being in the medical field has a lot of influence on our kids. They hear us talk so they know to a degree what things mean

I think another reason he didn't get upset was I didn't get upset. I was concerned yes but not a panicky omg poor baby type. I've seen a lot of injuries in my day and it takes quite a bit before I start getting worked up.

My two boys 4 and 6 seem to be pretty tough times in reguards to shots and needles they will hop right up on the exam table and pull up their sleeves without even being told.

My 12 year old daughter yeah right it's on with her she won't have any part of needles she will go ape with all kinds of ninja like skills and it's a fight until it's over.
