It's a bit smaller land wise than I wanted but it's amazing. I especially like the quiet , the stars and the woodland. Lots of deer around here...

Depending on the price in your area, the oil might be cheaper to burn. I could get it for about $1.90/gal here if I still used it.

Looks about 2.09 a gallon in this area. That seems ok but I am new with oil. Always been wood or pellet...

I left out a comma. I was guessing where you are now located. When you said "green blood, I thought Vermont. (Green Mountrains) but then those two names gave me second thoughts of areas together, Goggled and got Conn. I hope that made sense.

That sir is a true statement I have yet to hear a CT resident deny. Thankfully I don't pay those taxes ;).

I had the Okie plats two seasons ago and loved 'em. Last season I burned the golds ...yukkkkk. Soooo glad I sold what I had left.

I was going to say those wild turkeys are just the tip of the iceberg. You are going to see all manner of wildlife out there. Deer, fox, skunk, bobcats, fisher cats, coyotes, mountain lion. We had a black bear run through here a few weeks back! So cool.

Depends on what pellets are going for in your area. But, using the PFI fuel calculator and an average of $269/ton for pellets and oil burner at 85% efficiency, the oil would be about $4.00 per million btu's cheaper.

Spock what kind of camera system is that? Do you like it, is it affordable, and would you recommend it for home security video surveillance?

Good luck having chickens and goats with those Coyotes in your back yard. They are getting very brave and won't hesitate to steal a meal.
