    Hello all,
It's been a long journey but I have finally returned. I now reside on a different location on the earth. My better half and I found a piece of country that we can homestead. The house and barn need a bit of work but they got good bones. Got apple 5 trees , raspberries , and wine grapes to start. Chickens coming soon I hope.

And of course I had to make the place right with a new pellet stove...no pics yet due to it's still wrapped up.

I will stop in from time to time as I check stuff off my honey do list. Hope you all are well and ready for the cold swing around the sun!

Lots of land there. Is the red building made of of cinder block? Plan on farming? Good luck with the new digs. Hope you keep the pictures flowing.

Best get that puppy hitched up soon. Cold is on its way. Overdue, so when it hits we are in for a drastic change.

It is. And yes. Just not sure what yet. Chickens and goats for sure. Maybe a cow or two as the barn has stanchions.

Here a pic of the barn innards. First story and second story (much cleaner currently).

Unless you experience with livestock, I hope you go slow. Huge investment in keeping them well and safe. No sick days when you have farm animals.

Still in NE. And I could be. Not that far away from Stafford/Tolland.

I know. Thankfully the house has a new oil fired hot air system and the place is well insulated. Have a little breathing room to get much needed stuff done.
