Thanks and good to know. Was not aware Lowes sold PTLs, at least not in the northeast. We never see them here.

Just removed the fabric cover off of my gazebo, you can see that my stove vent is under there so no fire while the cover is on!!!

Help with Caraganas? will711 ? I'd prefer to cut the tops off by atleast 1/2. Can we do that this fall? or should we wait til spring.

You can prune them now , my philosophy on pruning is go slowly take some off see how it looks you can always take more , you can't put back you have to wait till it grows back.

I bought an electric chainsaw years ago when my husband was traveling for work. Woo I did not need it :) Might try it out on these, I would rather see the view.

I also am unsure if they will grow back, they were feeding off a defunct septic line that we just had replaced (thus the excavation dirt in the pic). I'd like them to stay alive being there is almost no shade out here, but I think we are better served by a nice view than bushes.

After a whirlwind 3 day moose hunt, got back home around 8 last night, tired, hungry, but thoroughly hydrated. Middle son dropped a small bull at 7:40AM. 11 point, 612 lbs. Middle son on the left, youngest son on the right. Had a great trip with just the boys and I.

Don't give it a Buzz Cut :hair: selectively thin out some branches tip back the rest giving you a view and some shade if you were closer I would do it for you :D
