Got a load of red oak cut. And in the truck. On and off rain today so I got pushed in the barn. Cutting down some white oak that is a little long and the splitter fired off on the second pull after 4 months.

    Certainly is nice.

I have to add this in. My GF is a farm manager and there are a few rentals. She got the call that a toilet wasn't working. This is the text she sent me.

On my way home now. Chain flipped and flapper wouldn't close. How do some people survive?

She's a keeper. She can pull a toilet and install a wax ring. She would fit in fine around here, but she is busy with her fiber arts forums.

I like your saw horse. I made a very similar one up myself, out of 2x6 (of all things), as I had a couple pieces kicking around for a couple years. Should outlast me.

I had some random length treated pine fence boards hanging around so I knocked it up out of that using a a build thread on here as a guide.
