I been gone for a few months so a friend I helped out last year gave me a nice present. I got home and seen this. I know it's not dry but it will do till I get back in the swing of things. He dropped off about 4 cords and even stacked it for me..it's a big load off my shoulders now it's time for me to find someone me dead suckers to mix it in with.. Here are some pics

One hand washes the other. That's what real friends do. I went out of my way for him last year and he returned the favor. It's the right thing to do..

Compressed wood bricks like envi blocks are great for mixing in with subpar wood.

I've seen those, the big ones are awesome. Can't get them around here... Can only get the Eco Bricks AKA Enviro-Bricks. :(

I thought it looked like hickory (bark wise) but there is no color in the wood
White Ash possibly - if its all the same kind of wood.

It's awesome to have a friend return a favor when your in need - sounds like another FHC member in the making

Yes it is. My buddy hooked me up with the struts from his job and I put the clear plastic on top bolted to some 2x4 with a pitch so the snow slides off easier, held up well after last winter so I think it's sturdy enough
