Me and my Echo/Bearcat did some work today. Split and stacked the last of the red oak (~1/2 cord) from the tree I had taken down in July. The weather was fine and I finally had some time off.. Here's the before: and here's the after (the slanty stack in front is today's, the 2 cord in back was S/S early this summer).
I'm hoping it is ready for '16-'17. I have no patience, but, I will not burn it until it's down to 20%, even that's '17-'18.
Good job, mike. That will grow your stacks with good stuff. I like the double up off the ground nice n' high.
