Looking at the saw. The rear handle is a 900 series handle made after the 901 - 904 series saws. Same with the manual oil pump plunger mounted on the rear instead of the right side of the air box. I haven't seen pics of any of the later 900 series saws with the green paint on the recoil starter or early ones with the rubber on the front handle bar. I suspect it's a later 900 series saw with an older 800 or early 900 starter cover. Here's a link to the 4th edition repair manual which gives some info on ignition types and various other features on the various larger frame saws in that family.
