    Close to 90 here today. Not much humidity though so it actually felt good, considering things are cooling down next week. I'm hoping to do a test burn this weekend to make sure everything is good to go on the stove. In addition to the new distribution blower I changed all the gaskets. I'm headed up north moose hunting with one of my sons the following weekend. Could be gone up to 10 days. I don't want to come home to :heidi: because the stove didn't operate properly if the wife needs to turn it on.

    The pipes in great shape, but yeah, i'd clean it first to be certain.

    So run the small pipe from the pellet stove to the adapter, giving the small pipe as much distance as possible?

    It really depends on where the stove ends up sitting on the hearth vs. the existing stove, but I would give it as -short- a run as feasible to the existing pipe, and if you can work it out where the existing pipe stays and simply accepts the adapter plate, so much the better.. But if you need to go up, do whatever works safely - typing this without knowing the height of the existing pipe, support mounts, etc.

    Trust me, I won't leave much beer for ya. I might even try taking it with me!! Maybe some of the skunk pizz if your lucky!! :p

    Picked up 5 more bags of MWP at Walmart today. Price is still $219. That puts me at 7 tons in the stash. Time to stop buying until I can start burning what I buy. Their inventory was about twice as much as what they had 2 weeks ago. Looking at all the open pallets exposed to the weather and the number of bags with holes in them, I'd guess about half of that inventory will be wasted by the idiots that work there.
