As previously mentioned, I bought this low mileage lovely from the original owner @ an auction back in June. Mechanically in not bad shape, but butt ugly it will well serve the need to keep the driveway plowed and work in the bush lot. I took it over to my buddy's shop to fix up the few mechanical issues and to change the doors and repair the hole in the driver side floor. When he went to fix the floor, he took the seat out. He calls me that night to ask if I bought the truck from Willie Nelson? I laughed and said no and that the previous owner was of Native extraction and local. He informed me that when he pulled the seat out there was the usual assortment of nuts, bolts and screws, $8.65 in asst. change, 4 shotgun shells a whole bunch of asst other junk and a little tin box full of Mary Jane. He figured the truck must have belonged to Willie, himself..................LOL. Needless to say, every old truck needs a name,so.............hence forth she'll be known as "Willy Nelson".......................... . The old dog runs out good on the highway after 37 years. I guess that proves Ford certainly once built good trucks..................

Good useful truck rottiman, perfect for what you want it for. I had the 300 six in my old '86 with the four speed with bull low. Put over 300,000 kms on it before I gave it to my BIL.

I had a 79 in high school. 302. Some fool put in what must have been 4.56 gears. Good at turning tires into pudding and drinking gas.
