Slowly upgrading bars

    Got some trigger time today with my new 16" and 32" light bars. The 32" really improves the balance on the 461. Now the tip doesn't drag on the ground when I'm walking around with it. The 16" is not really a whole lot different feeling than the standard E bar. [​IMG]

    If you would of had randy put his sticker on the air filter cover you wouldn't of needed the light bar to keep the to off the ground.

    Nice looking set up with the bars.

    Yes, a good setup. I had a 461 awhile back and ran a Stihl 32" ES Light on it - great feel and balance!

    I think you may be correct. If it cut fast, surely this was due to the chain and not the saw. It was still running a little rich. Frankly, I'm scared to lean it out to maximum RPMs...:eek:

    The chains didn't hurt. The saw is pretty fast though. I didn't run the 261 though. Just the 461 in that one big chunk.

    That 461 was a tad fat Mike. What's your elevation where you normally cut?

    All my saws were lean when I got there Sunday.

    I'm a about 500 ft above sea level, nothing special. I just tune it to 14,200 at WOT. I'm not so good at hearing 4-stroking live. I can hear it easy on peoples videos, just not in real life.

    the 261CM is available any time. Maybe next Spring at Chuck's if not sooner. It's pretty kick azz.
