    What do you mean by clean? The guy at the box store said all I had to do was light it and keep pellets in the hopper.

    Maybe that's why I can't see the fire anymore. The glass is about as black as the outside of the stove. Carl said that was normal when he installed the trash can spark bucket outside my living room window, so I didn't worry about it.
