Looks like some Black locust in there too! Start low and if he doesn't bite make him throw out a price and counter offer. I wouldn't pay more than 50 but I'm in a different state and have never had to pay for wood here.

Free is for me but I understand everyone situation is different. How much do you guys burn out there? I'm surprised wood is even sellable in vegas. If his measurement is accurate it is probably 5ish cords.

I don't know your situation but, if it were mostly pine, I'd take it for free or very little cost. That is just me and my opinion. And, I have the ability to be picky living in a deciduous hardwood forest. So, understand I'm not being snobbish. Just telling you what I think. God Bless

I can't judge correctly from pics, but based on the block wall behind, 5' tall is a stretch, unless there's a wood filled ditch there...

Oh, I didn't see the mostly pine part. Tell him if he gives you $50 you will let him bring it to your house.

Find out the story behind the wood before you make an offer.. Head over with a cup of coffee for him.. Maybe he did a bunch of tree jobs, brought the wood back thinking he'd split it and sell it only to have to move out of a rental and not be able to unload it.. Maybe he builds up a stash and then sells it every so often... His situation will dictate the price that you will pay (or he will pay you), not the amount or type of wood..

They are probably building some condos and just dozed that stuff over. So bet they need it gone ASAP. So I bet he would be willing to negotiate Oak or not I would grab every bit of that. Already bucked up and ready to split!

Nothing like a Craigslist ad. Where everyone's trash turns into treasure (at least in the sellers eyes ) ;)

Make an offer. My offer would be super low if I did offer but really I would not even want it if it were free. But that's just me. I also do not think there is that much wood there. Offer to clean up his mess for the wood.

It is worth a Benny to have it delivered. That might be all it takes. Can't be too long of a line of interested parties in Vegas right now.
