Went to that Woodstock fair ttdberg mentioned. It was Mich bigger than I thought. Figured while I was there I would have a big donut and some of those Ray's fries.

It's a tradition for us, go to the fair and get those Rays French fries. Family size aka the dog bowl is a must! Also picked up some beef jerky, a dough boy, some clam cakes, and dels lemonade. Oh yeah, and some fresh made treats for the pooches. Love the fair. Time for a diet though...HA

The wife had a Del's and a Turkey sandwich. I wanted the Jambalaya But didn't have room for it. Did walk by a Kinderhook for sale. My wife goes "oh no, pellet stuff" lol

Well, looking at the Facebook page of the airshow-it was a traffic nightmare getting in and its always worse getting out. We ran errands today and picked up some chuck roast and the fixins to make some pulled beef tomorrow. Using Elderthewelder recipe, but adding in some shrooms

Was thinking of trying a brisket, but went this direction for this weekend. :grizz:

Well today the boss is going up to camp so she and the youngest can plan their trip to a wedding in Virginia over the Columbus day weekend. I'm lucky I get to stay home, take care of the granddaughter, tend the chickens, button up the house, likely fire the stove for the first time, have some brews, sleep in, and maybe even do some brewing.

Me and a bud scooted up to Lebonon Valley Speedway for Musclepalooza car show and drag races. Long day in the sun, but it was fun. Lots of walking My boss( buddy) went three rounds with his 67 GTX and another buddy had his 68 Chevelle in the car show.

My honey busts her butt in a labor of love on these shade/rock gardens full of paths and whatever she can find that will do well in limited sun.

She plays in the dirt, moves any rocks she needs to and clears smaller brush-I take down anything that requires the chainsaw.

This is how it looked before-this area is just to the left af where she has been working

    2-DSC04325.JPG

and after. There is soooo much more that you cant see in this pic. I need to get more at other angles.
