    Found this in a dumpster today .
    Not seized and compression.
    And a few pounds of scrap brass .

    Meh, I see lots of faucets in the dumpster, never bothered to check for compression fittings though...

    Seeing the little piece of rope on the chain brake leads me to believe it was at a dealer with a tag on it . The repair was likely more than the owner wanted to spend. Although it may only need a fuel line. The dealer will do the fuel line, impulse, fuel filter, and spark plug. Add in the fees for the shop, and you have a really big bill.

    Nice find and probably a cheap fix!! :thumbs:

    No, no, that was my safety reminder string that I usually tie to my belt loop so that I wouldn't leave my saw in that dang dumpster! That's what I get for using too small of a string.:eek:

    I got this saw for free at the dump. It had a few issues, but I got it fixed up for about $80 in parts. image.jpg
