I'm curious as to how much it would cost to make it back to original running condition. The reason I ask is because I am considering getting another saw.
It's about time you posted up some saws for sale I really like all three that I bought from you this year.
New (or used) crankcase and brake lever/hand guard and handle, plus a few screws and gaskets and the time to disassemble and rebuild.
It's rather time consuming but the 562 is a dream to work on. I would think you be looking at saws a little smaller Gas (545/550XPish) but if this thing tickles your fancy and you can come up with parts I might be willing to super glue it together for ya. . I have a little experience with traumatized 562s. I can price new stuff but I'll tell ya right now, even with a discount you're going to be awful close to new saw territory.
