Well, I guess I been bothering my ole bud long enough about cutting me some wood. WVHunter cut and split me a pretty good load of wood this evening. All I had to do was back my truck up and stack it in there. I kinda feel guilty now. How can you beat a bud that cuts and splits you some wood? Just giving a shout out for Ole Tom. He ain't half bad after all. God Bless you all.
Ole Tom git after it didn't he! Only folks I'd cut and split for would be somebody that's layed up, too old, or.....well, that's about it.
Wv boys are tight knit group. Used 2 be one. Glad 2 see people helping each other. It's a dying trait.
No thanks needed bud. WVM did not tell the whole story he came over and helped me seed all my logging roads at the farm. He helped me out as well, and the wood was actually for his Dad.
I lived in Virginia in the early 90's for about six months working on a construction site in a little place called Amherst. And lived about 40 miles South of there in Lynchburg if I remembered those names right. I think it was on Route 29. Beautiful country in West Virginia and Virginia. I met and worked with some real good people who lived there. When that job finished it was time to move on to S.C.
Yep, people around here tend to help others . Tom is no exception. Plus, what most people classify as hard work, Tom uses as a form of recreation. He isn't scared of work or sweat. Just a good guy that helps others. God Bless PS: His log splitter is DA' Bomb
Your memory serves you correctly, Gas- Lynchburg and 29 up towards Charlottesville is some gorgeous country- specially in the fall! And that blue ridge parkway? Even bettah!
Next step is for you guys to set up a couple charity cuts each year.. Just the natural progression of things.
