With all this talk about fall and winter coming, I thought I would post this little gem I found. Of course, none of us here are superstitious! Except, hum maybe........................
It's in the 90's here for the next 5 or 6 days. Good last minute wood seasoning. Then, we start seeing highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. Don't know about everyone else, but that is a great thing!!! First fire for me here will be about 30 days. I've got some maple stacked for shoulder season, and then it will be on to ash from November thru early March.
That reminds me, won't be long until I have to take the summer air out of my tires and put in winter air. I usually do it after the first day of fall, so that I get a sort of seasonal blend, just in case we get a mild winter.
It is all BS, but it was on FB to get at rise if you look at it without thinking. What really is interesting about Halloween is that its history goes back 2000 years. The commercialization started in the early 1900's
Where's the confusion Brad? Doesn't everyone do this? Oh yeah, don't forget to refill your blinker fluid while you're at it.
There's a story about a prairie person who came out to the coast for a holiday, but took a jar of ocean water back home with him. His friends asked him why he only brought back half a jar, to which he replied it was low tide when I filled the jar!!!
