Best deals I got last year were in October. I'll get back to you in a few months about this years best deals.
If you are referring to the Eagle valley, I can send some to a dealer near you. I have only been offering it to a select number of dealers, but I would be happy to mix some on a load if you let me know a dealer close to you. I have been basically into a dealer in CT, Blakeslee pellet. He's had a relationship with Eagle Valley for 10 years.
I realize the gubermint fudges the numbers, but its really becoming obvious what will be cheaper. Most people vote their pocket book.
Yes they can ,but I will give them their props they say what they can ,and I know it was mentioned here that some suppliers have already told dealers that you won't be getting all that you ordered , You know what they are gonna say Great we can't sell the ones we got now ,and Oh by they way we were going to cancel that order too
pelletguy, I was referring to both. AFAIK those orange letter Ligs are the same product as PTL Softies. The Eagle Valleys I have not seen around here for about 5 years. Robbins Garden Center in Oxford, MA carried them for a couple seasons around 2009 - 2010. Loved them, to this day they remain some of the best I've used. They were $250/ton back in those days! I would jump at the chance to burn them again! Blakeslee is too far away for me though.
I called the local HD today to make sure I wasn't missing out on anything good. They're offering FSU, GS, Nations Choice and Chow at $259. I asked how many tons I had to buy to get free delivery. They don't offer that anymore for wood pellets. So at this point, the only thing I would think about buying from them at $259 would be Blazers should they get some in this year.
Where do you normally buy pellets. If your near Robbins, you must be near pellets direct in uxbridge. they might have them for a fair price.
