I burned the Platinums last year, and to be fair they were a very good pellet IMHO.

I have no idea, mine were very good, but do not doubt other experiences may vary.

Considering we have a mill down for repairs, that would make sense....

But you said you are still selling more regardless of that fact.

So did the person that you traded with have the same problem? I'm sorry you weren't happy with them, but I have never heard of a problem like this before, so I don't really know what to tell you. Since this seems to be an isolated incident, I would think it was a stove issue as it doesn't sound like the pellet is getting a proper burn...but I am no stove expert. Where did you buy them?

Correct me if I am wrong. Viridis Energy= Viridis Merchants + Okanagan Pellet Ltd.

Merchant sales up, Okanagan Pellet sales down. Total revenues down 14% for q2

I knew that was coming "stove Issue" seriously a guy has made a pellet stove a hobby and spends his free time on pellet forums chats about pellets and pellet stoves should know something about stoves I would think. Correct? My resume includes 15 years of all phase of hvac so I think im good there mr salesmen stove tech. Besides how do the somersets prior to the platniums burn like a dream then the fiber energy products after the clean up burn ashy yet fine? It was your pellets end of story sorry to be so cocky but fight fire with fire right:mad:

This was discussed last winter when several of us had this identical problem so it is not an isolated incident. Fortunately, my dealer swapped out my remaining two tons for some good pellets. I spent a whole day getting that guck out of my stove. And no Doug, my stove is in excellent shape.

I stand corrected....if you and a handful of other people had this problem, I didn't remember it. I have sold 10's of thousand of tons of these pellets and if there was a problem with them, I would have remembered as I would have been replacing product in large volume. That just didn't happen, nor do I remember dealers complaining, so I can only assume it was very isolated ....our pellets have a very good reputation....you have seen the reviews and many of you have burnt them for yourselves. This is not salesman hype...this is fact.

If someone has a problem with any of our pellets, go back to the dealer you bought them from and they will take care of you ...that is what they do. They will then come to us if there is a real problem and it will be addressed. If we have a problem we certainly want to know about it....and we have had very legitimate issues we have had to deal with occasionally in the past...just like any manufacture has....and like I asked before, if you traded your pellets out with someone else, did they have the same problem?

You can always call me directly and I will answer any concerns you may have if you feel you have problems with any of our pellets....I'm pretty easy to get a hold of...all my information is in my signature below....
