    Don't really want to but I don't think it's going to hit 60 today. I did just sweep the chimney the other day and replaced a bunch of gaskets so I might as well give her a test.

    Whew.
    My wife may have a slightly differing opinion this soon in the season (which doesn't actually exist yet).......she's wearing shorts and a T right now, but I DO NOT like being cold.
    Maybe I'll go make a pie instead. That oughta warm up at least the kitchen.

    I fire up the pellet stove almost nightly, gets turned off in early afternoon. Nothing wrong, whatever floats you boat!

    I went ahead and had a small take the chill off fire last night. Burned off all the dust and broke in the new gaskets. No leaks, seems tight as a drum.

    Agreed, only problem is with the owb, it's much more tempting because it heats our hot water, and it gets nice and HOT HOT HOT!
