Hey guys, I finally got around to fixing up my living room and putting the quad in place of my old franklin.

It'd look better with fire in it.

    Oh wait...

I agree. As long as the air conditioning effectively counteracts it and I get some pipe on her.

I have a Quad insert of about the same size. If your 4300 performs nearly the same it it going to cook you out of that room.

It's a back up stove for only very cold days and nights. I've thought about it getting too hot. I should only need to use it during extreme cold. Then being cooked might feel good.

Good looking install JA600L. I hope the Ideal Steel won't become jealous.

Nice looking hearth. I like the "stepped" look in brick hearths. That stove will serve you well.

20151107_112916.jpg Here is an update of the Quadra-Fire install. I've got a candle in it burning. This one is more for decoration.

Right where I want to be.
I can see myself laying on one of those couches or in the recliner, just watching the fire.
    Morning would include coffee.

I wasn't sure how well it would work. It's hooked into a 15ft masonry chimney. With the 90 bends I didn't know what to expect. The pictures are with the air fully closed. I'd say I'm good to go.

No sir. It's in great shape. This is only a back up stove. The Ideal Steel in the basement heats the house.

This stove really impresses me. It is a fantastic heater. It's just not quite big enough to heat the house for long periods. The Ideal Steel will gladly offer me 12-24 hours of heat.

I put in a quadrafire insert just like Paul bunion this December. You have to love the secondaries they produce.
