    Oh man is it ever work. Great exercise though. I just came out of the woods after cutting a few nice straight White Ash for logs to sell. And will use the tops for firewood. Sweating my arse off!

    Very old dead fall red oak. Punky around the outside edge. Had to quarter them so I could move them to the truck. Dang near blew out a nut even with them quartered..........staff I'm sorry if nut is a forbidden word. Just let me know and I'll behave

    Hey Dennis. It's fantastic to See you my friend. Hey guys Dennis has been my Yoda of wood heat since I joined the "other" forum in 2013. I've learned a ton from many of you, but Dennis has really helped me keep my family warm. Now if I could just get my wife to stop saying his name in bed!.....sorry sorry joking. Really glad to be back on a forum with Dennis and the rest of you all

    Hey, we weren't too far from you last May when we went to Omaha. Too bad we didn't have more time as there are many others we could have visited out there and on the way out or back including many in Iowa and Illinois. As it was, we sort of made a flying trip out and back but finally got to see our one and only great granddaughter!!!! That was the highlight of our trip and so was visiting with Fire Chief Steve.
