Hackberry and Locust....

    Picked up four pick up loads of hackberry and locust and added them to the 16-17 pile. Warm night, but nice breeze going.

    Nice Combo cant beat that....:thumbs: ... I personally like Hackberry, it has some good qualities. Fast seasoning and lighten enough to start the harder wood nicely...

    The guys are right on the Hackberry splitting. Most of what I got was 15 inch diameter of less, so they will go in the OWB whole. Locust I cut was amazing, maybe down 10 years, bark completely gone, but inside yellow like it was just cut down, hard as nails.
