    Went to work on felling some Ash today for customers. After running some errands I guess I put 8 hours in. Got a hot shower and now it is time for a cold drink and my comfy chair.

    Cleaning out the freezer since I have a third of a 290 lb hog coming. 2 other neighbors went in with me for it. Cost us $1 and some change per lb processed. While doing this, I
    Found an old venison front quarter that's too old to eat. Thawing it out to make some yote bait for tomorrow night. :rootintootin:

    Slice it up about 1/4" thick...put on trays and bake in the oven at 250 or so until dry....think big unseasoned jerky.
