I put a upper-medium quality Whirlpool in the new digs last summer. Same thing....so quiet I don't know it's even on w/o looking at the control panel LED's.

Yes, that is exactly where it is going. I'll have my fan on and dressed in shorts all winter! I actually have heat shields to put on the sides of the stove. There used to be a wall on the right of the stove, and where that window is, was the back of the little half bath. My desk is a corner desk that will extend down the wall.

Yes, and he like the cool floor. I'm getting him a cushion to lay on so his arthritis won't be so bad, and just maybe he won't be climbing up on the couch.

Same here, in fact all the appliances are SS in the same whirlpool design.
Plumber and electrician due here tomorrow. Flush, shower, sinks etc. are all a go. So glad to see everything work. Ceiling fans are in, but need to have the wire connected to the fuse box. Still some sconces to be hung left and right of where the wife's oversized dresser and mirror will be. Coming together so fast now.

The boss wanted something other than that Maytag, so when we went to the store she went looking at the Kitchenaides and I made her look at the Bosch units and we settled on a Bosch. See how that works OM. I suspect that the only real problem with the Maytag could have been taken care of by a new latching unit and maybe a switch. The latch handle broke a couple of years ago but still allowed the unit to run so we just let it continue on.

Ah hum! I know exactly how that works. It is called pay back. You may have one the battle, but not the war. I tell my wife what we can afford. Always come in on the low side, because no matter what, she is going for a step or two above that. Her way of winning.

My husband does not spend irresponsibly. That said, for our cooking habits, I wanted and electric oven range, burners on top, stove on bottom. We (he) ended up with a 6 burner cooktop and a double oven in the wall. Take into account he does most the cooking, but...:zip:
