I'm with you Pete my local TSC has 150 ton + in July , HD near work has 200 ton , never been like this before for my area in NE PA , I think it's a Good thing .
They have had a good three years of trends to watch for purchases. Now a monkey wrench in the mix with fossil fuel making a preemptive strike. My stove got reinstalled today. Mostly that is. He hasn't located the OAK yet. I am sure it is around someone in the mess.
Larry spot on my Friend when oil got $$$$$ folks looked to something else , pellets now it seems that the shoe is on the other foot , the worm has turned . I'm always going to be a pellet head , but I think this is going to be one Crazy heating season , I'm sitting on 4 ton and let's see how this plays out
IMO, people went to pellet stoves to SAVE $$ and be warmer due to high oil/gas prices. Well, this is no different. Burn what gives you the heat at the lowest $. As we always say, it's all about having options.
never knew who lousyweather was, I think I finally figured it out. Looks like a lot of gold in there!
oh, very few store indoors, actually......maine, NEWP, Geneva, Okies (all), Turman.....all outside. Now, Bioblocks and Logs, yea, have to store them inside.
I really dont know of many retailers that store inside around here. My pellet guy stores outside and I have never had an issue, but of I do he will make it right even if it means driving out here and replacing entire pallets on his dime. Try that with Big Box
