Anyone familiar with Inferno Gold? Happen to see them driving by the store, they were outside. $7.99 a bag or $300 a skid I believe.

Price is high but what kind of pellets are these?

I think those are rumored to be produced by Curran now. IMO, those would be a major PASS at $300....

I bought couple bags to do test burns last year. They were fine for me. Similar results to MWP. Price paid was $4.99 a bag at TSC. Later in the season I saw some other Infernos at Big-Y for $6.99 - I just took a picture of them for chuckles.

    Agreed, the price is CRAP.

AAA where did you see them for that price? Was it a grocery store like Big-Y?

Curran blend is poor, at best. Their softies did get decent reviews. Not sure if those Inferno "Gold" are the blend or a hardwood. Someone needs to get some pics of the current bags.

Could be real gold and for that price I would keep on driving.

See here. These pellets are in a league of their own: Ultra Premium. Even says so on the bag, dammit.

If these are similar to MWP, which I happen to like and I think is a decent shoulder pellet, they certainly aren't worth $300. Especially when pellets like LaCrete are available at similar prices or less.
