Today is my "Wednesday" of a 7 day shift - things are pretty chill at work, outside of some guy that thinks his "apps" aren't running because of a virtual server that won't communicate fast enough for him
funny he wasn't worried couple weeks ago when the server wasn't even working:confused:

watched two yellowhammers fly around the front yard chasing each other this evening - bright yellow with black wings

Blasting 80s music. No neighbors. Or old neighbors that fall asleep early = Total awesomeness. Perfect summer night to be outside.

I know! It always comes back around. I can't escape. Lol. My mom used to tell me what the 50s were like. Very much like the 80s. I feel bad for the kids of the past 15 years. They haven't had a musical moment/movement.

Met with a contractor this morning to help solve some problems they are having with the walls and a roof system on a new building they are putting up.

Found out this is their second attempt. The first time they put it up it collapsed. Doh!

When you first don't succeed...do it wrong again? :)

2-24', 2-20' and 2-16' doors all look like this.

For some reason the owner doesn't want a temporary column in the middle of each door. Some people are so picky! :)

It has been a good day so far. Some breakfast and percolator coffee, a stop in to the local Stihl dealer for a new b & c.

We ended up at the local farmers market for fresh bread, cukes and honey. We don't have a garden, so we try to buy local and support the growers. It is worth every penny.

I was out doing errands when I saw the stump grinder in town. I stopped just as he was finishing the job and he said he had time to do it today.

I had him grind the big elm I took down last year and a smaller one I took down before that. Bill was $200 which I thought was a fair price.

Well, drove 2 1/2 hours to get there. Not a cloud in the sky when we got there @ 5 pm. They were only able to get the time trials in before it started to rain enough that the Outlaws packed up and pulled out. We started home and 10 kms. from the track the sky was clear....................Sucks to say the least..................
