This plastic piece (on the left) came with a SR9. It looks like a magazine floor plate, but doesn't fit the SR9 mag.

Does anyone know what this part does and where it fits? The parts breakdown does not show it, so I'm thinking it may be for a different gun. Thank you.

Was this part in the package for a new SR9? Or did you pick it up used?
The markings look similar to the plate on the SR9 clip in the picture but I can't really say

It came in the factory box with the 9 but the gun was not brand new. It doesn't fit the standard clip, so I'm either missing something really obvious or maybe it fits some other gun

could be a floorplate for a lc9 or lcp both of which are smaller than sr9

Does it have a part number or any other identifying mark engraved/printed on it?

Looks like a bottom plate for a magazine. If it doesn't fit yours, perhaps they packed the wrong one.

Edit: stupid auto correct got me again.

It has the Ruger logo, so I'm pretty sure it must be for a different mag. Now I just need to find a good holster!

I'm guessing the previous owner put it in the box not knowing it was the wrong plate

Looks to me like a switch cover for a flux capacitor.

Or a magazine floorplate to another magazine, the 2 can look so similar.

The Supertuck is a good one. I went with a Theis of the same design. It's not the holster I grab for a trip to the gas station, but if I plan on carrying for several hours it's by far the most comfortable holster I've used.
