That is a good price for MWP delivered from Paris Farms. I've had very good experiences burning those. Happy every time.

Agreed. Out of the choices in that list, I would load up on MWPs. It's a great value, heck even the delivered price is lower than the pick up price around here and by a good fair amount too.

on the 100% Hardwood, I checked scanned the UPC with iGepir smartphone app and saw that they were Geneva pellets. I recommend the app highly as with TSC its a great help especially determining where your TSC bagged pellets were sourced from. Hope that helps.

I like the MWP's. Yes they have ash, but what doesn't in that price range. A lot of people like FSU's or Stove Chow, and I've burned them both, but going forward, I'll stick with the MWP's.

Stopped at a TC today. They had GS and the Tractor Supply brand. Went and looked at them to see if there were any tags - nada.
The UPC code was 5245300306. I must have missed a digit because it comes up as invalid.

Thanks Will. I am tempted to try them. With so many products priced in the $300 range and oil so cheap (paid $2.20/gal a couple of weeks ago), oil is looking pretty good to me right now.

They get good reviews here , I think that oil because it's cheap now vs Pellets is gonna big the big debate this season , my other heat option is Electric so I'm all in on pellets .

I burned a LOT of the TH at the previous house.....Good middle-of-the-road pellet, especially if the price is right.

Don't know if you guys saw my other post about the $ of heating oil around me, but I saw $2.19/gal from C.O.D. Oil.......cheapest it's been in many years.

I burned about a 1 / 2 ton a few years back and they were fine for me  at $ 250 / ton I think that's as low as it gets in my neck of the woods now @ $ 275 / ton , I'll pony up another $ 25 - $30 for LaCrete's

I was going to post the same reminder! Get some tons on layaway while the price is reduced, folks. Sunday is the end of the $25 off party, and as much as it kills me to say it, this is probably as good as it's gonna get this season. Prices will only rise as the season progresses...

I'm in the same boat as you Fred. Oil is $2.20 here too and that's about as low as it's been for years. I will fill my tank now, that will carry me well into the cold months. Anyway, at the present time, TSC is the only place around here I can buy pellets and feel like I'm saving a buck! If the weather holds, I'm running down to grab a couple more tons this weekend. At least one of them will be MWPs.

Talked to my dealer again today. He sells Cubex, LaCrete, Crabbe and Northeast pellets. He thinks pellet sales are going to drop this year because of oil and prices will eventually have to come down. We can only hope.

Jay, I stopped at Barkhamsted yesterday after getting my truck serviced but the lady did not let me into the back to check the UPC tags. She only knew that there were GS and TSC pellets. I was driving past the Bristol store today and the guy let me into the "cage" to inspect the pallets.
