Ported 088

This is on my local CL. As if an 088 isn't big/fast enough? I don't know jack about porting saws, but curious what you pros think of these pics? The price sure seems fair. If it's who I think it is, I bought my 066 from him, and he's an honest guy. Edit, it is the same guy. PH # sure rings a bell.

I think that one is listed over on AS right now too. That does seem like a fair price. I'm half tempted myself, but I've been pretty satisfied with my current collection.

 

It probably is....I think he is an AS member IIRC. I don't venture over there but maybe once a year.

Joe is a stand up guy, just saw him 9 days ago. I have probably bought 10 saws of various types from him as well as boxes of parts and bars and chains. He is also responsible for the only camera speeding ticket I have ever gotten when we were leaving Terry Landrum's several years ago. DO NOT speed in Oak Ridge , TN.

 

For those wondering, I'm not interested. Just wanted to pass on what I thought was a good local deal and facilitate pickup if needed.

 

Yup, he bought a bunch of saws for me at an auction up his way. I followed along on-line and texted him my bid on the ones I waned. Your little Lancaster came from that sale.
