It's all home!! There was a bit more than another trailer load too. I'll be busy this weekend splitting and stacking. Thanks for all the support with my "sickness"!!
That's a lot of wood! My trailer is only 16' long with side boards similar to yours. One load of rounds about 18" off of the floor equals a cord once split and stacked. Any idea how much wood you grabbed yet?
Well, http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/members/drvn4wood.1205/, it's difficult to say. All of the wood was cut 12"-16" long. They cut the bigger rounds shorter to keep the weight down. That being said, I hope I have a bit over 2 cords when it's all said and done. A cord per trailer, with a bit of waste, and the partial truckload. I hope I'm suprised by the end result!! I try to cut everything for our stove 16" long, and I put about a 1 1/3 cord of wood on the trailer. I could definately get more on it, but that's about where I'm ready to overload the trailer.
Sounds about right. My guess is you keep 2 cords. I give my shorts and uglies to a friend and my wagon stacked to a cord. That's a great haul man!
