Nice! The stock on that marlin is one of the better looking ones I've seen. What make/model are the other 2?
I didn't get a Marlin. That's a Ruger. The old one is a Springfield Arms, 1929 I think. The other... can't remember but it's a 20 gauge lever activated break barrel.
I thought the lever gun looked odd. Figured it was a single shot. It does look like a 10/22 now that I look at it.
Yea...I'm on my phone. Can't see squat. I've never seen a ruger with checkering. Is it stainless also? My screen sux. The lever scatter gun is cool
Itacha, yes. The name was escaping me. Not sure how to point it, though-- the hump by the cocking lever makes it so I can look down the barrrel.
The old single shot is a Springfield, the lever action on is an itathca. Maybe that works with critters, but not with clays at 16 yards.
Think he said its a springfield. I thought it was H and R too. I always wanted one of those h &R back when they could be had for like $110 new. Also wanted a rifle too think they were NE?
I can't tell what I'm pointed at with the hump in the way of the bead. Why is there a bead if it's not visible to the shooter?
Are you looking down the barrel like a rifle of keeping your head up more and looking like a shotgun?
Very nice trio you've acquired. The 10/22 is a beauty, you're never gonna regret that one. The Springfield will outlive you, solid and reliable. The Ithaca is a great one also, you just have to modify your sight picture to help shoot it. The lock-up wasn't designed to be practical, more to resemble a funky falling block, if I remember correctly. If you decide that you don't like it, let me know, I call "Dibs!" I'd love to have one of those. Great stuff ! edit- the 10/22 has a great stock BTW, love to see more pics. of it.
