Hey thanks ! Probably the Collins would nake a better hammer ! It seems like its a littler bigger and would handle it better .
I found this old Collins in my great grandparents barn. I hadn't heard of them before. They were one of the first and largest ready-made edge tool manufacturers in the world. I think this one dates to sometime in the 20's or 30's. I hung it over my wood stove next to my grandfather's bow saw.
