Pulled a muscle in my back when I threw a large split the wrong way today.:picard:Luckily it wasn't too bad so I kept going, but gingerly. Wife stacked everything I split this morning while I cut the grass this afternoon. I told her it was too hot to do that and that is why I was cutting the grass during the hottest part of the day. (Riding the zero turn in the shade:D) She didn't care. She said I don't have the kids to keep from argueing while we stack so I'm enjoying it! LOL

So my sister home on vacation watched our kids all afternoon and early evening so my wife and I could get some things done and go to dinner. Yeah! We went to Between the Buns in Potsdam, NY. Gourmet burgers, and appetizers. They had lots of flavors of this stuff they called "beer" on tap. So I tried a tall, cold one of those. Tasty. A Western Burger with onion rings. Burger had onion straws, bacon, BBQ sauce, and I had them skip the jalapeƱos. Nice big burger on a great bun. Very good. Little expensive, but good. thewoodlands you will have to try it out sometime.

I think being back to work is great! I am on 4 tens currently. There is a little flexibility in the work schedule; but we have to be careful.
The job will last until almost the end of the year at which time I will be able to speak more about it.
I like it more than what I used to do.

At the tip of the spiders leg that is pointing at 11 0'clock is the triangle that is the goatee. Turn your monitor to the left 1/4 turn or your head to the right and he will jump out at you!:bug:

Steel estimates for the new Marriot in Breckenridge. Permit set of prints, they're such a pain, you have to guess on half the stuff, then list what you guessed on.
PITA! Then , do it over again on the next set of prints. Sorry, a bit grumpy, been doing this stuff after work for the last week plus, and week-ends.
I need to go shooting or sumtin', blow off some steam.

Sanding done in the bedroom. Moved on to the rabbit hutch. I have to get two more sheets of plywood. Here is a pic of my progress. Hoping to have it done by the end of this week.

My wife will be painting this week. Once she's done I can get back in there and put down the floor and then add the trim.

While all of this is happening, I'll be finishing the rabbit hutch, and my son and I will be clearing the area for the pallets.

Things are picking up with this lull in softball. Though we have two tournaments back to back starting this weekend. Friday-Sunday is one tournament, and Sunday to Sunday is the second tournament. These should be fun, and will wrap up this years team. I do start preparing for the fall/winter and next year in the August tryouts, but that is far less of an effort. Hoping to finish this load of logs by end of July and get the second load in right behind it.

I mentioned the outdoor fire pit. That might need to take a back seat to putting in a pellet stove on the first floor. I am working the finances to see if we can make the pellet stove work.

damm back tweaks-I re injured a 10 year old injury to my neck and shoulder. Bad disk in my neck that had been fine for the last 4-5 years is now acting up again from helping move an 80" White Board (big azz and overly priced TV with a touch screen-damm thing cost us 10K-yup that's our cost) that weighs over 350lbs. Must have moved the wrong way and still paying for it 3 weeks later.

I hear that! It was 86or more here in the afternoon yesterday. I've got my caffeine down and am going out to split before it gets too hot. Should be able to get 3-4 hours in as long as I go easy on the muscle on the right side of my back.

"they are a royal PITA" ... more like a PITB... ;) ... "the bosses" oughta get on the ends of those things for a while and do some lifting... they might get you more help. 350 lbs is a lotta lift.
