Well got the 16/17 stacks totally completed and covered today. Took about 4 loads. Stack a really good mix. It's mostly hard maple and red oak with some silver and Hackberry for mixing. Cut some pieces from the tarp my neighbor gave me and covered it. Still have a decent amount left to split which is going to the 17/18 stack which I started back in April. 20150712_123533.jpg 20150712_131700.jpg 20150712_132958.jpg 1436725564921.jpg 1436725616798.jpg

Drinking beer now..lol.. Thanks for the compliments guys. It felt great to get those stacks completed and tarped. Next project is taking that rack I built that's sitting on the hardscape and cutting it down to 2 slots wide. I'm going to put it against the house between the spicket and pavers for easy winter wood access. I'll fasten some of that tarp to it so it it snows with wind the wood stays dry. I'll take the remaining third up to our carport for easier stacking.
