Chainsaw case, What is this piece ?

Picked up a Chainsaw box a while back from Menards for 20 bucks.
Open up the box and found no instructions, looking at the pictures on the box, I managed to put it together okay but, what is this piece for, anyone know?

 

MY guess is that goes in the hole (for the bar) if you are toting PHO ...

You are correct! It closes the bar hole when you don't have a saw with a bar in the box. I use an old saw box for tools.


HDRock , move the blade cover a little further out so the wide spot near the end of the blade cover lines up with the side of the box. Should snap in place.

Yeah I figured that part out when I put it back in the box after I was done.

Thanks guys, so that little piece is just a plug for the hole when packin PHO, are using it as a tool box

 

Thats was a good price. The husky versions are like $50

And just saw this lost but this thing is a copy of the husky box and Yea thats a plug and there light about moving the sheath out but is see you figured that out.

Yeah, I found out about it because someone posted the sale on here can't remember who but I went and bought it online and picked it up later.
Regular price at Menards for this power King box is 30 bucks.
Lowe's sells the Husqvarna power box for 40 bucks.
